Bold Magazine for the Taxi Drivers
Taksi! is a magazine exclusively created for taxi drivers and stakeholders who are part of the Finnish Taxi Association. It offers an insightful take on crucial topics that have an impact on the taxi industry in Finland. The magazine is a reliable source of information on legislative and fiscal matters that affect the everyday life of taxi drivers. Moreover, it showcases engaging stories from taxi professionals belonging to different age groups. It is highly popular and widely read among the members of the association.
We redesigned the magazine with the objective of providing more contemporary, interesting and easily accessible content that adds value to the daily lives of the members. Through the sharing of experiences and tips, the personal stories of peers help to foster team spirit while also imparting valuable knowledge gained from working in the field.
To give the magazine a more powerful edge, we needed to add more strength and boldness to its appearance. We sharpened the typography to make it bolder, and simplified the color palette by bringing the well-known yellow-black-white color scheme of the taxi industry to the forefront. We also introduced rhythmic changes to the typography, layout and structure of the magazine to create a sense of forward movement and dynamism.
